fearfully and wonderfully made

"I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."

-Psalm 139:14

Wonderfully:
Admirable or very good; excellent or splendid. 2. Capable of eliciting wonder; astonishing: won′der·ful·ly adv. won′der·ful·ness n.

 Fearfully:
The Hebrew word that is translated “fearfully” is yare (Strongs #3372). In Vine’s Dictionary it means “to be afraid, stand in awe, fear”. When used of an exalted person it means “standing in awe”. This implies honor, reverence and respect for the person. To be “fearfully” made means to be “awesomely” made.

Marvelous:
Causing great wonder; extraordinary. Synonyms: amazing, astounding, astonishing, awesome, breathtaking, sensational, remarkable, spectacular, stupendous, staggering, stunning.
Extremely good or pleasing; splendid. Synonyms: excellent, wonderful, magnificent, superb, glorious, sublime, lovely, delightful, too good to be true.

^This is you. Whoever you are. You were wonderfully and fearfully made. You are a marvelous work of the Creator. His most favorite and loved creation. The next time you look in the mirror dear soul, "know right well" that God sees no flaws with His creation of you. He sees that you elicit wonder, you are breathtaking, you are lovely in His eyes. Stop listening to the other voices telling you that you are not good enough. Listen to His, which tells you that you are too good to be true ... except for you are true!
