fearfully and wonderfully made

"I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."

-Psalm 139:14

Wonderfully:
Admirable or very good; excellent or splendid. 2. Capable of eliciting wonder; astonishing: won′der·ful·ly adv. won′der·ful·ness n.

 Fearfully:
The Hebrew word that is translated “fearfully” is yare (Strongs #3372). In Vine’s Dictionary it means “to be afraid, stand in awe, fear”. When used of an exalted person it means “standing in awe”. This implies honor, reverence and respect for the person. To be “fearfully” made means to be “awesomely” made.

Marvelous:
Causing great wonder; extraordinary. Synonyms: amazing, astounding, astonishing, awesome, breathtaking, sensational, remarkable, spectacular, stupendous, staggering, stunning.
Extremely good or pleasing; splendid. Synonyms: excellent, wonderful, magnificent, superb, glorious, sublime, lovely, delightful, too good to be true.

^This is you. Whoever you are. You were wonderfully and fearfully made. You are a marvelous work of the Creator. His most favorite and loved creation. The next time you look in the mirror dear soul, "know right well" that God sees no flaws with His creation of you. He sees that you elicit wonder, you are breathtaking, you are lovely in His eyes. Stop listening to the other voices telling you that you are not good enough. Listen to His, which tells you that you are too good to be true ... except for you are true!

eggnog shake//recipe

Do you love eggnog but don't desire the icky high fructose corn syrup and other junk inside the stuff at the store? Fear no more! This delicious shake has a true eggnog flavor. It can be enjoyed for breakfast, for dessert, or a snack on the go while running errands. You won't miss a thing about the store eggnog after tasting this!

Sugar Free Eggnog Shake Recipe

  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 1/2 -2 cups ice
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 raw farm fresh egg
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp super sweet blend
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • Add all of the above to the blender
  • Blend until smooth and creamy
  • Taste and adjust sweetness and flavorings to your liking
  • Garnish with a sprinkle of extra nutmeg and enjoy

*If you do not have super sweet, you can use stevia or truvia instead.
*If you do not have almond milk, use regular milk
*In place of an egg, you can use 1/3 cup of pasteurized egg whites from a carton

This has most certainly become a favorite of mine. I hope that you will enjoy it as well! Please let me know if you do!

Q&A//answers

Favorite music group/artist?
Casting Crowns

What country would you like to visit someday?
Well, I would of instantly said China but now I am not so sure because a couple months ago a friend said that almost everyone in China is rude, haha. So I would choose Africa at the moment.

Current favorite Bible verse?

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
-Romans 8:38&39

How many pairs of cowboy boots do you have? ;)

Haha, I used to have three pairs, but I gave one pair to Paige so now I have two. :)

Favorite book?

Besides the Bible, I love (and sorry I couldn't narrow it down to just one) the Violet Travilla books from the "A Life of Faith" series, the Christian Heroes: Then and Now series of missionary books, and most of Ray Comforts books.

Would you rather: sit by the fire and read a good book, or take a walk in the sunshine?

Take a walk in the sunshine.

What are some tips you can give on modesty?

First off, I have learned from a bad experience to always try on clothes/examine yourself in a mirror before you buy them/wear them out! Often I will gather up a stack of clothes that all look like they will be perfect. After trying them on in the dressing room I come out with a handful of what was actually okay. I try to have my shirts be loose enough that I can grab a handful of the front. If I can't then it is usually too tight.

This may be old to everyone except for me. But I just made a realization not that long ago through the example of a couple friends of mine. When you bend over you can casually put your hand on your chest to keep your neckline closed. Or you can do more of a squat instead of bend over.

Lastly I just want to share a little about how much more important a modest spirit is over dressing modestly. I have known girls who wear cape dresses and they are completely immodest because of what is in their heart. They have an immodest spirit about them. I have known girls who some may call immodest, but they have a true desire for modesty in their heart. Their sweet spirit of modesty makes them more modest than the girl in the cape dress in my opinion. It truly matters what is in the heart first when it comes to modesty.

What is your favorite state(that you have been to)?

Colorado

What is your favorite song?

By Your Side by Tenth Avenue North

What is your favorite animal?

Domesticated: horses/Wild: white tigers

How are your horses and what are you doing with them now? ;)
Our horses are doing great! I am about to send my horse, Cochise off to a trainer friend for two weeks. Once I get him back I plan on diligently riding him as much as possible and keeping up with his training. If I keep having problems with him I will be selling him and looking for a horse more suitable for my needs. :(

How many tornadoes have you had there this year so far?
Hmm, a few. One hit while my parents were at Walmart one day. I was at work and Dylan was home with the rest of the children. Everybody crowded into the back of Walmart and Mom called Dylan to tell him to take everyone at home to the neighbor's basement. I was taking care of an elderly lady who wouldn't of been able to go to the basement if the tornado came our way. That was all kind of a scary situation.

Have you ridden your horses lately?

No, I have been really bad with riding, sadly and unfortunately.

Do you have a computer or are you writing all this on your new phone?
I have been using the computers at the library/college. BUT, we DID just get a new lap top, yay!

What is your favorite flower?
Peonies.

Do you prefer Dodge or Chevy?
Chevy all da way! :)
